Canine Companions –
Canine Early Development Center
& Veterinarian Building

2965 Dutton Avenue, Santa Rosa, CA

Architecture and project management of the 36,143 square foot expansion for Canine Companions. This smooth stucco-finished pair of buildings house the Canine Early Development Center and the veterinarian building for this world leader in the breeding and raising of assistance dogs.  Another great structural engineering effort by MKM and Associates. The outstanding project design team included MKM Structural Engineering, Adobe Civil Engineering, TEP Mechanical and Plumbing Engineering, SOCO Electrical Engineering, and MacNair Landscape Architecture.  Don MacNair and sculptor Jim Callahan collaborated on a fabulous Plaza Fountain, with water elements flowing among bronze sculpted canine statues. Construction completed Summer 2024.
